Bill Schwartz has represented mesothelioma victims, injured workers and families for decades in West Virginia obtaining millions in necessary compensation. He earned a degree, a couple of Big East track medals and a Student Athlete Award from St. John's University. He then went on to serve as a Moot Court Board Justice and finalist in the National Trial Competition at Washington & Lee University School of Law.
The Governor's panel of Business and legal experts recommended him for a vacancy on the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and he was a candidate for that same office. He is a recipient of several other awards including a Top 100 Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers, a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation and the President's Award by the West Virginia Association for Justice.
He has also contributed to his community by supporting Covenant House and creating Breath of Life Foundation for the study of cancer cures. He also provided health care workers around West Virginia with personal breathing protection during the pandemic. He has spoken on trial tactics around the country and lectured on law at West Virginia State University. He continues to represent workers and assists other lawyers in West Virginia and around the country.
