Sonia Roca was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She began her education in the Miami Dade County public school system and went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. As a result of her multiple achievements in undergraduate school, Ms. Roca was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship while attending the University of Miami School of Law, and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2009 from the University of Miami. Ms. Roca is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida
